OCCUPY WALL STREET Dialog and Workshop, Potluck
We will host a group of speakers from Occupy Wall Street for a potluck and workshop. The speakers will dialog with us about the movement’s non-hierarchical organizational structure and OWS’s commitment to direct democracy. The talk will address current project areas including outreach, sustainability, urban farming and group facilitation. The speakers will then begin a horizontal conversation about problems in our own community and how OWS might help to solve some of them. If the spirit moves you, please bring a dish for the potluck!

Finally you will truly understand: What is a wetland? How do wetlands function
and why are they so important? Produced by Open Sky Productions, commissioned
by the New Paltz Wetlands Protection Fund Advisory Committee, this short but
high impact film explains the value of wetlands in protecting drinking water,
promoting biodiversity, and preventing flooding. Co-sponsored by the
Greenburgh Conservation Advisory Council.
