I am sure that, like the Sierra Club NYC staff, you are all still
deeply disturbed about the World Trade Center destruction and
its aftermath.

The employees of the Chapter, National and the
Office of Advancement who share the John Street office are fine.

Our telephone service has been disrupted and until it is restored
we working from home and will be in the office only occasionally. We have heard reports that the phones may be out for as long as 2 weeks but we hope
it will not be that long. This means no fax as well.

We have remote e-mail capability, but our postal service mail
has been delayed. We are not sure when deliveries will begin
again. When they do we will be picking up mail.
