Welcome to the Sierra Club Iroquois Group

 

The purpose of this site is to enhance communication and participation of Sierra Club members and concerned citizens in preserving our environment.

About 50 people, including members of the Sierra Club, attended the Joint Assembly-Senate Budget hearing on the environment on February 4, 2013. NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Commissioner Martens testified. The bus trip was sponsored by New Yorkers Against Fracking and was organized and led by Emily Bishop (photo by Larry Paul).

About 20 people, including members of the Sierra Club, gathered by the Creekwalk on April 13, 2013 to help clean up the Creekwalk and start work on the garden for butterflies.
