Welcome to the Sierra Club Iroquois Group
The purpose of this site is to enhance communication and participation of Sierra Club members and concerned citizens in preserving our environment.
Enjoy the peace of this varied forest area. Walk the easy trails, breathe the crisp autumn air and view the picturesque landscape, with its random stone walls and natural water features. We'll meet at the entrance to the park on Glenwood Ave., Syracuse.
Sue is an Iroquois Group member who has gone on several service trips for the Sierra Club. Her most recent sojourn was to Santa Catalina Island, California, where she helped restore natural vegetation and maintain trails. Sue will share pictures and memories from her trip, offering insider tips for anyone considering a service trip.
