Outing Committee Basically, we can use someone who enjoys the outdoors and has time to help

Sierra Club Outings welcomes diversity among its trip participants, and has made a strong effort to offer trips suited to individuals with a wide range of abilities and interests to join us in our exploration and enjoyment of the wilderness.

Enthusiasm itself can often help generate outings attendance. If a volunteer would like to take over the organizational tasks with scouting out and planning a specific outing.

Varies on the distance and time allotted for the outing

 1. Any specific area of flora or fauna expertise (trees in winter, edible plants, transitional vegetation, invisible wildlife, migratory patterns, whatever) 2. Other natural expertise (soil stratification, rock outcroppings, stream flow patterns, etc.) 3. Ecological expertise (toxic sites, development sites for alternate energy, etc.) 4. First Aid, CPR and medical skills OR interest
